For its mini size, Anker's Soundcore Mini 3 offers a really strong sound with a hint of bass and little distortion. The app with sound settings is also convincing, and several Minis can be paired. However, with less than eight hours of battery life, it clearly falls behind the test winner. And the controls are a bit fiddly.
