It's not worth upgrading from the normal PS5 to the Slim. The changes are too small for that. However, if you are faced with the choice, you should go for the Slim version because of the slightly larger memory.

| Description | Standard PS5 with its original white covers; I replaced the original controller with a new official white PlayStation controller. There is a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD, with 7000 MB/s read speed and an integrated heatsink, which I tried to disassemble to change the heatsink and broke an electronic component that I had repaired by an electronics technician, and the SSD works perfectly. Additionally, it comes with a pair of official pink PlayStation covers. Its power cable, original HDMI cable, and the replacement USB-C cable for the controller are included. |
