An uncompromising optical design ensures a particularly high resolution from the centre of the image to the edge for landscape and architectural shots or other similarly large motifs. Take close-ups with an aperture of F2.8 to capture objects sharply in front of dynamic backgrounds with wonderful bokeh. Sony's advanced dual XA (extremely aspherical) optics deliver exceptional resolution, reduced distortion and a wonderfully smooth bokeh.
