Additionally, it features a nanocoating and is equipped with three ED glass elements and one Super ED glass element, which minimize chromatic aberration across the entire image area. The autofocus of the new SEL-1224G is supported by the DDSSM drive (Direct Drive Super Sonic Wave Motor), which operates quickly and precisely. A customizable focus hold button and a focus mode switch enhance usability.
