Sony E-Mount Full-Frame Wide-Angle Lens F4 SSM. The new FE 12-24mm F4 G lens features a unique design and impresses with excellent image quality despite its compact and lightweight construction, weighing only 566 grams. This full-frame E-Mount lens offers the widest angle coverage in Sony's lineup, providing dynamic perspectives for landscape, architecture, or interior shots, making it suitable for both filmmakers and photographers. The innovative optical design of the lens, with four aspherical elements, ensures outstanding imaging performance and excellent sharpness from the center to the edges of the frame. Additionally, it features a nanocoating and is equipped with three ED glass elements and one Super ED glass element, which minimize chromatic aberration across the entire image area. The autofocus of the new SEL-1224G is supported by the DDSSM drive (Direct Drive Super Sonic Wave Motor), which operates quickly and precisely. A customizable focus hold button and a focus mode switch enhance usability.
