This 100mm telephoto lens with a medium fixed focal length is a creative tool that offers you G Master resolution as well as the innovative Smooth Transition Focus for impressive bokeh. It features a fast, precise, and quiet DDSSM autofocus system, along with close-up shots with magnification of up to 0.25x. The integrated optical SteadyShot image stabilization counteracts blurriness.

The advanced optics and design produce extremely high resolution and absolutely stunning bokeh, representing the overall performance of the G Master concept.

This lens has been specifically designed for exceptionally smooth, natural bokeh without vignetting. The result is a natural, impressive depth and dimensionality.

The extreme resolution across the entire image area meets challenging MTF requirements of 50 line pairs per millimeter, based on the optical G Master design.

The DDSSM focus drive (Direct Drive SSM) provides fast, precise, and quiet autofocus, allowing the user to fully concentrate on capturing outstanding photos and videos.
