Discover worlds of detail with the macro functions of this lens. Easily explore every detail of your subjects thanks to the impressive 1.4x magnification of the lens. If you also use the 2x telephoto converter, you get a 2.8x magnification, allowing you to take breathtaking close-ups with incredible sharpness.

Experience fast, accurate and silent autofocus with the FE 100 mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS. Thanks to XD linear motor technology, this lens is perfect for capturing fast-moving, complex subjects, even if they are moving erratically.

The FE 100 mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS offers precise lens control for complex macro photography. It's made for challenging shooting environments with a weather-sealed design that provides protection from dust and moisture. The lightweight design makes it ideal for any shooting situation.

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
