Product details

Semi-automatic turntable with belt drive and aluminum die-cast platter. Beneficial with fewer cables, the sonoro Platinum Automatic EAS discreetly integrates the phono preamplifier into the housing. An external amplifier can also be connected via the switch. Active speakers can be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth Qualcomm aptX HD, even without cables. Audio signals can also be output to a PC or Mac via USB, which is useful for digitizing records. Enjoy the convenience of the automatic shut-off feature while preserving your vinyl. After the last track, the tonearm lifts and the platter stops spinning. For audiophile upgrades, the headshell can be replaced with a bayonet connection. Additional highlights include an optically controlled DC motor, low-friction precision bearings for the height-adjustable tonearm, and gold-plated RCA connectors.

The Sonoro Platinum Automatic EAS proved to be a worthy member of the Platinum trio. For 700 euros, it offers a lavish equipment package, but not at the expense of sound quality. Although the comfort player revealed some minor flaws in terms of measurement technology, these did not prove to be a hindrance to listening pleasure.
