When the dance of lights begins, the fascination is immense – but there is also a lot of technology behind it. The cable plays a significant role in this. The power for the light and control signals for the movement need to be transmitted. Both cables are combined in a robust cable sheath, forming the connection to the lighting console and other DMX 512 dependent control units.

The SC-Monolith 1 POWER/DMX includes a power supply cable with a cross-section of 3 x 1.50 mm² and a DMX 512 line. Each DMX pair is shielded with a tinned copper spiral. The load cable has been designed according to VDE standards and is additionally protected with its own PVC sheath for extra safety.

Of course, the AES/EBU line can also be used as a microphone cable or as a connection for active speaker systems.
