The SSL UF8 is a DAW controller that allows for simultaneous control of up to 8 channels. It features 8 motorized faders, 8 touch-sensitive knobs, and 8 high-resolution LCD TFT color displays for visual monitoring. For easy navigation, the UF8 offers a versatile master knob that can be used to navigate through the session, select tracks, or simulate a mouse wheel. There are 40 assignable buttons (organized into 5 banks of 8 buttons each), complemented by 3 "Quick" buttons, which can be customized with specific shortcuts as desired. This makes the controller easily adaptable to any DAW and workflow.

SSL 360° for Mac and PC

The customization of the many features of the SSL UF8 to meet the user's specific needs and the corresponding DAW is done through the SSL 360° software. Here, shortcuts can be assigned, and specific setups for different DAWs can be saved as presets. Changes made are automatically saved in the background and can be retrieved as needed.

Multiple cascading capability, iLok, and master keyboard connection via USB Thru

If 8 channels are not enough, up to 4 UF8 units can be connected via the USB Thru on the back, allowing for setups of up to 32 channels. Additionally, the USB Thru can also provide a secure spot for the iLok or serve as a port for devices such as a master keyboard.
