Product details
This network-capable device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) through the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a separate power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where many cables would be disruptive. You save on installation costs and can enhance the reliability of connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS) if desired.
Connect a cordless headset to the phone using Electronic Hook Switch (EHS): This allows you to handle calls solely with the headset without needing to stay close to the phone. Calls will also be signaled directly on the headset. If you are near your phone, you can transfer the ongoing conversation to the regular handset. You do not need any mechanical aids, such as a handset lifter, for all of this.
