The Banana Pi Pico series is a low-power microcontroller development board designed for the Internet of Things. The BPI-Pico-RP2040 is a microcontroller development board from Banana Pi equipped with an RP2040 chip. Its most notable feature is the addition of an onboard WS2812 color LED. The 3-pin DEBUG interface has been replaced with a JST SH 1 mm 4-pin socket, which can be connected to Qwiic and STEMMA QT or any compatible peripherals. Additionally, the micro-USB socket has been replaced with a USB Type-C socket, which supports reversible plugging and is compatible with the USB Type-C cables of most modern smartphones, eliminating the need for an additional purchase.
