Product details
The Art was the first Global Vision lens and marked the beginning of an era. It was launched in 2012 and set the standard for all subsequent lenses in the Art product line. Thanks to its exceptional image quality, it remains the 35mm prime lens of choice for many professional photographers. Now, after years, the 35mm F1.4 has been completely re-engineered from the ground up - specifically for mirrorless cameras.
Like all products, the 35mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is fully manufactured in the factory in Aizu, Japan, where the highest standards of optomechanical manufacturing quality are ensured.
At the heart of the design of the 35mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is an optical formula that is at the highest level in its class. Although it is significantly smaller and lighter than the existing 35mm F1.4, it delivers sharpness all the way to the corners of the image even at wide open aperture, while also producing a creamy background bokeh; all optical aberrations are well corrected.
