Sigma

A high-performance standard zoom lens with excellent capabilities in its class, offering high resolution across the entire focal length range. This is the second Art zoom lens specifically designed for mirrorless cameras. With a fast zoom, outstanding results can be achieved. With this conviction, Sigma developed the 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, the first Art zoom lens specifically designed for mirrorless cameras, characterized by extremely high resolution. This belief also encompasses the 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN | Art – the second zoom lens in the Art product line.

Through experience in developing lenses for mirrorless cameras, the size and weight of the lens have been successfully reduced while achieving a uniform and high resolution from the center of the image to the edges across the entire focal length range. Additionally, compatibility with mirrorless cameras and their functions allows for use in various fields, meeting the high demands of professional photographers as well as ambitious hobbyists. Following the 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, the 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN | Art is the flagship of the generation of Art zoom lenses and the ultimate standard zoom lens with a large aperture.

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
