Uninterruptible power supplies typically store electrical energy in lead-acid batteries. Temperatures, such as those found in control cabinets, can shorten the battery's lifespan. Not so with the innovative DC UPS from SITOP. Long-lasting capacitors eliminate the need for battery replacement, allowing the maintenance-free UPS to pay for itself in a short time. And since no hydrogen is emitted, the control cabinet does not need to be ventilated. Short charging times also ensure quick availability after a power outage.
