SITOP UPS500S EX maintenance-free uninterruptible power supply with USB interface Basic unit 5 kW Input: DC 24 V Output: DC 24 V/15 A Protection class IP20. The SITOP UPS500S, equipped with absolutely maintenance-free capacitors, is the optimal complement for all 24 V power supplies. It bridges short-term power outages lasting from seconds to minutes. This duration is usually sufficient to safely shut down PC-based automation systems or to visualize and archive operational data during longer power outages. The USB interface and a free software tool enable easy communication with the PC. The capacitors have a very long lifespan even at high temperatures and can be used at ambient temperatures of up to 60 °C. Maintenance or replacement of the energy storage is not required, allowing the DC UPS to pay for itself in a short time. Additionally, since the capacitors do not emit gas, cabinet ventilation is also unnecessary. Short charging times quickly restore buffer readiness after a power outage. The UPS500S for DIN rail mounting can be extended with SITOP PSU501S expansion modules (up to a maximum of 3) to increase buffer time.

The connection and commissioning of a UPS with more than 3.5 kVA must be clarified in advance with the local electricity provider in Switzerland. The connection must be made by a qualified electrician.
