Improvements include simplified handling, a new optical display, and full communication capabilities over Ethernet across the entire logic module series. Another advantage of LOGO!8 is that all logic modules come with an integrated web server featuring drag-and-drop programming. No knowledge of HTML coding is required. A variety of expansion modules specifically for LOGO!8 allows for customized expansions to 24 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, 8 analog inputs, and 2 analog outputs. Maximum configurations offer up to 88 digital inputs, 80 digital outputs, 40 analog inputs, and 18 analog outputs.
