The deTec2 Core safety light curtain from Sick is a highly advanced electronic module specifically designed for use in standard industrial environments. With a safety level of Type 2, PL c, SIL1, and SILCL1, this product provides reliable protection for machines and equipment. The resolution of 30 mm allows for precise detection of objects within the protective field, while the range of up to 15 m enables flexible installation in various applications. The light curtain has a protective field height of 1,200 mm and is equipped with an IP65 and IP67 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water. Connection is made via a 5-pin M12 connector, facilitating integration into existing systems. The package includes the receiver, a test rod, safety instructions, as well as installation and operating manuals to ensure easy installation and commissioning.
