The adjusting screw transfers the pressure evenly to the strings. Retuning is almost superfluous. Since around mid-2013, this capo has had an even more ergonomic design and a roller instead of the rubber cap (as on the S series), which transfers the pressure even more sensitively to the back of the neck.
