Product details
In the early 1950s, DUX developed a sharpener that allows for the adjustment of the pencil tip's sharpness in three different settings. A knurled knob located at the end of the sharpener enables the selection of three distinct pencil tip styles. The knob clicks into place audibly and tangibly when turned. Depending on the setting, it allows the pencil to penetrate more or less deeply into the sharpener. The precisely defined angle between the cone and the blade then produces the desired tip.
Three different settings:
1. Slightly blunt tip for colored pencils.
2. Standard tip for graphite pencils.
3. Finest, pinpoint tip for drawing pencils.
Even delicate cosmetic pencils can be sharpened very well with minimal waste. Made of brass, with a clear protective coating. Comes in a leather case.
