The Silver Seal keyboard offers excellent typing comfort while being highly resistant to liquids and contaminants. The antimicrobial effect of Silver Seal products is based on the incorporation of a nano-substance in the plastic that contains silver ions. These ions destroy the cell nucleus of bacteria and inhibit their growth. Silver Seal is used where a minimum level of hygiene responsibility is necessary, such as in the food service industry, public service areas, hospitals and medical practices, pharmacies, and laboratories. It is 100% waterproof and dustproof (IP68, NEMA 4X) and dishwasher safe for all standard dishwashers up to 60°C (dishwasher heat drying must be disabled).
