The compactly designed 14 mm ultra-wide-angle lens helps photographers achieve unique images when "more" needs to be seen in the frame. A maximum aperture of f/2.8 allows for stunning images even in low light conditions. The two aspherical lenses, thanks to the Extra Low Dispersion technology, reduce chromatic aberrations. Naturally, the lenses are multi-coated. As is customary with Samyang, this meticulously produced optic is focused manually. The lens hood is permanently attached to prevent unwanted reflections and light intrusion. With a minimum focusing distance of just 28 cm, sharp images with high contrast can be captured even from a short distance. In addition to the immense width this ultra-wide-angle lens offers, it also impresses with remarkable depth of field.
