Der C49HG90 ist sicherlich kein Monitor für jedermann – nicht nur wegen des ultrabreiten Formats und des saftigen Preises. Für schnelle Spiele ist er aufgrund der hohen Eingabeverzögerung nicht optimal, Besitzer von Nvidia-Grafikkarten kommen nicht in den Genuss adaptiver Synchronisation...
Eine leistungsfähige Grafikkarte vorausgesetzt – am besten eine aktuelle Radeon von AMD –, kann der C49HG90 Spielern ein breites Grinsen aufs Gesicht zaubern. Der Monitor überzeugt mit einem sehr guten Bild, satten Farben und guter technischer Ausstattung. Den rundum perfekten Gaming-Auftritt verhindern der leichte Input und die für 144 Hz zu langen Schaltzeiten...
Wer auf die Krümmung verzichten und mit einem Rand in der Mitte leben kann, kann sich auch zwei 27-Zoll-Monitore für zusammen 400 Euro kaufen. Die liefern aber garantiert keine so hohe Bildqualität, wie sie der Samsung im Test bot. Zudem ist die Ausstattung meist viel karger. Und neidische Blicke von Freunden und Bekannten?
