Samsung has hit the bull's eye with the fourth generation of its compact folding smartphone. This is also due to the fact that this form factor is practically out of competition in Germany. With the Galaxy Z Flip, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has successfully eliminated the biggest weakness of the predecessor model - the short battery life due to the too small battery. Apart from that, the technical improvements are manageable and the visual differences are only marginal.

Samsung's Flip is currently the best small folding phone. The technology is similarly strong as in the Galaxy S22 Plus, only the telephoto and DeX mode are missing. When opened, it has a nice big display. When folded up, it even fits into a normal jeans front pocket. The mini-display shows basic information.
