The Saft LSH 20 L is a high-performance primary battery based on lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2). With a voltage of 3.6 volts and a capacity of 13,000 mAh, this battery is ideal for applications requiring continuous currents in the range of 0.1 to 1.8 A, as well as for pulsed loads up to 4 A. The LSH 20 L is non-rechargeable and offers low self-discharge, resulting in a longer lifespan. These features make it particularly suitable for use in safety-critical areas such as alarm and security systems, GPS devices, and military applications. The battery is certified for intrinsic safety in ATEX applications according to IEC 60079-11 and features a non-flammable electrolyte that provides excellent corrosion resistance. Its low magnetic signature also makes it attractive for specialized applications.
