Due to the high range of 300 m (with open space), you as parents have a large range of movement. As soon as the connection to the baby unit becomes too weak, you are warned by a signal tone.
The innovative DECT technology ensures interference-free reception. Noise as well as other baby monitors and radios in the neighbourhood are not received. The Safety 1st Safe Contact focuses completely on your child. You can either set the baby monitor to continuous reception or use the VOX function, so the device only transmits when your child is making noise. The three indicator lights on the parent unit show the intensity or volume of your baby's sounds. The parent unit is a handy pocket size so you always have the unit with you and your hands free for everyday tasks. With the included rechargeable batteries, it can be used for up to 5 hours without power supply. If the parent unit has been misplaced or forgotten, it can be found again via the search function on the baby unit with a signal tone.
