The Shotgun Mic Foam is a discrete, clip-on windscreen that protects the microphone head from wind and pop noise. These windscreens are made of durable, high-quality open-cell acoustic foam and provide up to 20 dB of wind noise attenuation while keeping frequency loss to a minimum.

This high quality foam has been developed exclusively for Rycote and offers excellent resistance to the damaging effects of moisture and UV light.

All Shotgun Mic Foam Windshields can now be fitted with an additional Rycote Foam Windjammer to increase wind noise attenuation by a further 12 dB.
