The Softie is a slip-on foam windscreen with an integrated fur cover. The Softie reduces wind noise by up to 40 dB and is the industry standard in broadcasting worldwide. Softie windscreens are available in a variety of sizes for most common shotgun microphones.

Both the acoustic foam and the artificial fur are made from materials specifically developed and manufactured for this purpose, providing excellent wind noise reduction without compromising high frequencies. Additionally, the foam is resistant to UV and moisture damage, ensuring a long lifespan for this product.
