This coupling features clamp mounting and is made of aluminum. It is suitable for higher speeds, greater misalignment, and requires less lubrication than typical couplings. Each coupling is constructed as a single piece, eliminating mechanical joints and potential sources of error. There are two mounting types available: typical applications include encoders, stepper motors, robotics, instrumentation, servo systems, pumps, valves, and fans. The set screw version is securely fastened with one set screw per shaft, positioned 120° apart. The version with clamp fastening uses one hexagon socket screw per shaft. These backlash-free couplings are designed for constant speeds and high torques, featuring a torsionally stiff one-piece design that is not temperature sensitive. They are suitable for high and low speeds and can accommodate reversal of direction of rotation, with up to 3° axial misalignment permissible.
