The mains connection of these units is not isolated. This is a step-up/step-down autotransformer, designed as an economy transformer for step-up or step-down conversion of mains voltages at 50/60 Hz. It features a compact design, full paint impregnation, and fully encased windings. Mounting is facilitated by four holes for fixed installation. Terminal blocks come with protective covers, except for the 50 VA terminal which has leads. The unit undergoes 100% electrical testing and breakdown testing (2 kV winding against core) and is tested according to EN61558.
