ABS filament for 3D printers from RS, 1.75 mm. ABS is an extremely strong, impact-resistant material, ideal for printing solid products. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a commonly used thermoplastic polymer in the industry due to its process stability and physical properties. These filaments are printed at slightly above-average temperatures, resulting in products with particularly high strength.

The recommended heated bed temperature is between 90 °C and 110 °C. ABS is printed at slightly elevated temperatures to provide additional strength to the final product. Over time, the plastic absorbs moisture from the air, leading to small water bubbles forming in the filament. These bubbles quickly reach the boiling point when heated in the extruder nozzle, damaging the print. The use of desiccant drying agents to absorb moisture is highly recommended.
