This heat shrink tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio and is available in new harmonized colors that conform to IEE standards for new phase colors. When used as an oversheath, this product helps ensure that cables meet the latest fire safety standards. It is halogen-free and exceeds London Underground and MOD requirements, making it ideal for applications where fire safety is a top priority, such as in public buildings, public transport, underground passenger transport systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports. The tubing features very low flammability, with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, and is absolutely halogen-free with extremely low smoke emissions. It meets standard LUL with no toxic smoke emission and has a high oxygen index of over 40%. This product is ideal for insulation, cable protection, cable marking, and encapsulation on connectors, and is supplied in lengths of 1.2 m.
