With our UHD-capable DisplayPort fiber optic cable, you can establish a connection of up to 15 meters between your devices. The active cable does not require a separate power supply and, due to its small diameter, is also suitable for installation in a cable channel. It supports resolutions up to 7680x4320 @60Hz. This is a hardware solution, and no software is necessary. The connectors contain fiber optic transceivers and signal repeaters. No external power supply is needed; there is a copper wire in the cable for power supply. The connectors and cable have small dimensions; the cable has a smaller diameter than comparable pure copper cables due to the fiber optics. The practical connector design prevents the cable from slipping out of the DisplayPort socket.
