Eine lange Zeit ist zwischen den beiden Modellen vergangen. Das Original-Kave hatte unter den Kritikern drei Schwachstellen: Das hohe Gewicht, Störgeräusche und Rauschen sowie die suboptimale Soundqualität im Multimedia-Bereich. Während die ersten beiden mit Bravour gemeistert wurden und man sich vom Design und der Verarbeitungsqualität ?...
Die Analog-Version des Kave XTD 5.1 weiß in Spielen mit präzisen Mitten und einem sehr guten Raumklang zu überzeugen und meistert somit seine beiden Haupt-Disziplinen. Überzeugen kann das Headset auch beim Tragekomfort. Toll finden wir auch das abnehmbare Mikrofon mit der Aufnahme-LED, die einwandfreie Verarbeitung und die Kabelfernbedienung, die sich sogar auf zwei Arten benutzen lässt...
Zwar ist das Modell nicht ganz so hochwertig ausgestattet wie der Vorgänger aber dafür ist es kostengünstiger und kann dennoch klanglich beim Gaming überzeugen. Auch der Tragekomfort kann punkten und das Mikro ist ebenfalls top, wobei die Sprache sehr gut übertragen wird. Leider fehlt dem Modell der Bluetooth Zugang und die Fernbedienung wirkt eher billig.
