The Roberts Radio solarDAB is the world's first solar-powered DAB+ digital radio. It is perfect for use while camping, fishing, or at the beach—essentially anywhere you want to listen to the radio on the go without changing batteries or rechargeable batteries. This means the radio listener is independent of a power source and also helps protect the environment.

This digital radio receives new DAB+ radio stations in perfect quality as well as analog FM stations with RDS comfort. All stations can be automatically searched and easily saved. The built-in speaker offers surprisingly rich sound for its compact size. The Dynamic Range Control allows for listening to classical and other dynamic music even at low volumes and in background noise, such as in the garden. The headphone jack provides perfect stereo sound enjoyment. An MP3 player can be connected via the USB port or the analog Aux stereo input.

The solarDAB2 radio is compact, trendy, stylish, and environmentally friendly. The solar panels mounted on the top convert direct sunlight into electricity, allowing the radio to operate autonomously for up to 27 hours on a single charge. In bad weather or when used indoors or in a caravan, it can also be charged using the included power adapter. Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight design, the solarDAB can be easily packed in travel luggage.
