These products from Rittal are empty enclosures for low-voltage switchgear combinations with a maximum rated voltage of 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC. The enclosures are typically used for housing measuring technology and control systems. The GE series enclosures are made of aluminum die-cast with a gray (RAL 7001) powder coating. They are equipped with holes and threaded holes for mounting support rails or mounting plates. The lid can be secured with captive screws to ensure maximum safety. With the integrated seal, a high protection class of IP66 is achieved. The neoprene cord seal is resistant to oil, gasoline, and chemicals. The enclosure offers various options for wall mounting, either with additional wall brackets or directly through the designated opening outside the seal.
