Captures impressive images at a resolution of 6720 x 3360 (approximately 23 MP) using the latest stitching technology. With the THETA Z1, video recording quality is significantly enhanced compared to previous models. It achieves fantastic and realistic 360° full-sphere recordings in 4K resolution (3,840 x 1,920 pixels, 56 Mbps, and 30 fps). In addition to the standard JPEG format, photos can now also be captured as RAW files, allowing for professional image editing. When connected to a computer, there is the option for 360° live streaming in 4K (3,840 x 1,920 pixels). This is synchronized with the image view and assigned to the direction of capture, enabling spatial audio that comes from the same direction as the currently displayed image segment. The THETA Z1 also benefits from a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, improving the transfer speed for images and videos.

- Die Ricoh Theta Z1 gefällt mit ihrer grundsätzlich sehr handlichen Bedienung. Der Fotograf kann im Grunde einfach nur auslösen und ihr den Rest überlassen.
- Ein integrierter Monitor wäre hilfreich. Selbst ein kleines Display würde beim Ausrichten helfen. So ist man auf den Monitor des Handys angewiesen.
Hochauflösende 360-Grad-Bilder sind die Spezialität der Ricoh Theta Z1. Sie bietet sehr viele manuelle Kameraeinstellungen, um auf die Belichtung des Bilds Einfluss zu nehmen. Bei Videos schwächelt sie durch die Begrenzung ihrer Sphärenaufnahme auf die 4K-Auflösung.

Ricoh geht mit der Theta Z1 keine komplett neuen Wege. Die Kamera dürfte aber für alle interessant sein, die mit möglichst geringem Aufwand 360-Grad-Panoramen in hoher Qualität generieren wollen. Möglich ist dies dank eines - sofern man über ein Adobe-Lightroom-Abonnement verfügt - recht unkomplizierten Workflows mit umfangreichen Korrekturmöglichkeiten...
