Product details
USB converter for operating SATA or IDE drives - no installation required. To use removed hard drives with a PC or notebook, they typically need to be installed internally, which can be cumbersome and time-consuming. This hard drive converter allows for easy and straightforward connection of external drives to the USB 2.0 port of the PC or notebook - without the need to first install the drive in a case! No installation into the PC case is necessary: tedious unscrewing of the PC case and the time-consuming installation process are completely eliminated. Simply connect via USB - and you're done. Create backups through the USB port. The converter turns any IDE, SATA, or SSD hard drive into an external USB drive. This makes it easy to recover images, music, or documents from old hard drives and create backups. Essentially, this converter is also suitable for testing or operating all types of hard drives and burners at a USB 2.0 port. Simultaneous reading of IDE and SATA drives is possible. It is also possible to operate one SATA drive and one IDE drive simultaneously on the PC - thus only one USB port is needed for two drives. The hassle of plugging and unplugging drives from the converter is eliminated. Hard drives can be powered on only when needed. The on/off switch on the power supply saves energy and protects the hard drives when they are not in use.
