The smartLav+ lapel microphone is designed to meet broadcast requirements and is therefore suitable for film, television and similar applications, but also for other areas that require a recording system
that is as discreet as possible and can even record several people convincingly. The smartLav+ can be attached like a conventional lapel microphone and connected to a smartphone in the vest pocket etc.. For recording we recommend the "RØDE Rec" app for iOS devices. With its omnidirectional polar pattern the smartLav+ guarantees professional results even when slipping in the heat of battle. A windscreen to catch gusts of wind and explosive sounds ("B", "T" and "P") and a sturdy clip with cable guide are included. The Kevlar-reinforced cable prevents damage that could occur if the cable is crushed or bent. The smartLav+ can be used with any audio app that can pick up the signals applied to the headphone jack. However, for maximum convenience we recommend the "RØDE Rec" app for Apple iOS devices. "RØDE Rec" transforms an iOS device into a flexible field recorder and offers numerous tone control settings, professional editing functions and the possibility to publish directly to SoundCloud and Dropbox.
