Product details
The RØDE NTG3 shotgun microphone with supercardioid pickup pattern is designed for professional film, television, and electronic news gathering (ENG) applications where flawless audio quality is essential. As the flagship of RØDE's shotgun series, the NTG3 delivers exquisite audio quality with a warm and full sound. Thanks to a special technology, it is nearly immune to moisture, making it a preferred choice in environments where condensation may occur. The NTG3 is made from solid brass and is available in reflection-neutral nickel and matte black finishes. Despite its lightweight design, it is remarkably robust. Its focused yet flexible directional characteristic ensures clear sound capture whether mounted on a camera or used with a boom pole. The NTG3 comes in a sturdy aluminum cylinder that protects it from transport damage. The cylinder is insulated at both ends, making it waterproof—nothing can harm this microphone. The RØDE NTG3 is manufactured in Australia and allows for a free extension of the RØDE warranty to 10 years.
Broadcast-ready sound quality. High sensitivity. Supercardioid pickup pattern. Ideal for use in challenging weather conditions. 50% less self-noise than other shotgun microphones.
