Die Aufnahmequalität ist unglaublich gut. Ich habe ein Rode VideoMic Pro (shotgun), das H2n stell dieses aber locker in den Schatten. Natürlich ist die Anwendung eine andere.
Es kann zwischen 4 Aufnahmemodi gewählt werden, verschiedene Richtungen und Channel. Der 4 Channel Modus kriert Surround der unglaublich naturtreu ist. Es hört sich an wie echt, nicht wie aufgenommen. Vorallem die Tiefen überzeugen sehr.
Auf der Seite hat es ein Wählrad, dieses regelt die Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofons. Schliesst man einen Kopfhörer an und stellt die Empfindlichkeit auf Maximum fühlt man sich wie Superman, man hört Dinge die sonst gar nicht hörbar sind.
Das Menu ist einfach und intuitiv. Das Gerät fühlt sich wertig an. Die 2GB microSD sind dabei, allerdings so in der Seite verpackt, dass ich es fast übersehen hätte. Batterien sind anders als in den Details beschrieben, nicht dabei.…more

Unbedingt das richtige Zubehör kaufen! Es wird zwischen Powerplugin-fähigen und normalen Mikros unterschieden. Einige Mikros brauchen Strom - andere nicht.
Das Aufnahmegerät funktioniert tadellos. Allerdings muss man wissen, dass für die Rode-Mikrofone der richtige Adapter benutzt werden muss: Ich hatte für den Recorder das Mikro "RØDE smartLav+ (Mono)" bestellt und die Aufnahme funktionierte nicht mit diesem externen Mikrofon. Grund: Das Mikrofon hat 4 statt 3 Pins am Stecker und deshalb wird keine Spannung auf das Mikro geleitet. Es braucht zwingend das richtige Zubehör oder man bestellt sich zusätzlich bei Conrad einen Stereo-zu-Mono-Klinkenstecker-Adapter. Beim Artikel steht: "Ansteckmikrofon für Smartphones - zur Nutzung an einer Kamera oder einem Audiorecorder kann der Adapter "SC3" verwendet werden."…more

Ich stand unter dem Druck, termingerecht eine wichtige Aufnahme abzuliefern. Ich kam mit der Bedienung rasch zurecht - die Qualität der Aufnahme war perfekt. Insbesondere für die Vertonung digitaler Diaschauen habe ich ein ideales Gerät gefunden!
Auch ich fand die Batterien und die microSD rein zufällig. Übrigens: normale SDHC funktionieren auch.
Praktisch wäre, wenn mit dem Gerät auch das sehr nützliche Zubehör geliefert würde.…more

Parfait pour mon usage; pour enregistrer des répétitions.
Je conseil le kit en complément, télécommande et rallonge particulièrement.

The best microphone I have ever bought
Best microphone I ever bought. I use it for Skype, recording audio tutorials (professional) and sometimes I read up books for the blinds. Sound quality is simply top quality for this. At the same time, it can also record sound, which is just an extra.
The software that comes with it confuses me. These are well knowns professional software. I am a software engineer, so it should not be a problem to install software. Still, these two tools on OSX fail (core dump and exit) so many times that I finally got rid of them. They also come with an annoying extra license checking application that is a pain in the donkey. I finally use Audacity instead. This way I can not use the raw 4-microphone format to suppress directional noise after recording and also I can not use the marker functionality of the extra (bought separately) remote control.
Battery life rating is not applicable for this product as it works on standard AA batteries. While USB connected it runs w/o batteries.…more

Nice mic
I haven't used it extensively, but so far it works quite well.
The built-in microphone is great for capturing environmental sounds. It allows you to switch between mid-side (and you can mix the central and side channels during or after recording) and X-Y patterns, or use both to capture 2-channel stereo or 4-channel surround.
I use it mostly to capture sound with a lav mic (there is an option in the menu to power a mic via the line-in port, which I had to do since my lav uses phantom power).
The built-in menus are easy to navigate. I recommend reading the manual to understand all functions of the product. Some are not so obvious if you are not an audio pro but just an amateur.
The only drawback I have is that the construction is a bit cheap, in particular the battery door is plastic and I have the impression it can break over time.…more

Auch für Vogelstimmen Aufzeichnungen geeignet.
Ich habe das Gerät gekauft um Vogelstimmen aufzuzeichnen. Das Ergebnis überzeugt. Ich würde das Gerät wieder kaufen.
