  Worth every centime, highly recommended lens!

  One of the best lenses I've ever had. Perfect for portraits.

  Pro

  • Sharp at open aperture, even at the edges
  • Very low lateral CA
  • Extremely soft bokeh
  • Compact and lightweight for a F1.8 full-frame lens
  • Autofocus is super fast and inaudible
  • MF/AF switch and a custom button on the lens

  Contra

  • Colour fringes (LoCA) are sometimes visible in the blur area if not stopped down
  • no optical stabiliser (but this is not a problem with Sony A7 cameras with IBIS)
  • cannot focus closer than 0.8m (therefore not really suitable for close-ups / macro)

  Great lens for the price. Wish it would have OIS

  Happy with this lens. Don't regret buying it

  • luck of OIS is a pitty, but with cameras wich has it inside, not a problem
