Fast delivery, good value for money,
I've just received it and haven't yet been able to try out many of the recipes.
Monsi, as the Monsieur Cuisine Smart is known in the Community, is a real alternative to Thermomix.
Look out for the SMART designation and the large 8-inch display, because without SMART it could be the predecessor model, the Connect. This has a smaller display which is surrounded by a grey border. The Connect was not yet such a big competitor to Thermomix, Kennwood or Bosch.
It's fair to say that its lifespan is still unclear - especially for frequent users.
Bought in 10.2023 at Lidl for CHF 400 and after initial teething troubles, I can no longer imagine my kitchen without ❤️Monsi❤️.
Ideal for sauces, classic sugo, soups, dips, purees, one-pot dishes, spice pastes, doughs, flour production, tahini production, jams and compotes (without over-sugaring) etc.
Every day I cook 800g parsnips and 200g ruebli for my senior dog (first chop, cook and puree), much more efficient than cooking in a pot and then pureeing with a hand blender!
Every week I cook 1400g of frozen goat meat for my senior dog (first put 600g in the blender jug, cook for 5 minutes until the meat collapses a little, then add the rest and puree at the end). Ditto previous sentence.
Every week I use the steam programme to prepare my pulses (300g beans in the basket, 300g lentils in the large steamer and 300g chickpeas in the small steamer).
As the beans usually take longer than the lentils and chickpeas, I also steam the vegetables for the coming week (but only for a maximum of 8 minutes) at the end of the programme. Storage for 1 week is no problem at all in vacuum storage boxes (e.g. those from Zwilling). However, I freeze the meat for the dog, packaged in daily portions.
And I know from a colleague that he makes fruit and vegetable purees or juices for his toddler...so his wife does that ;-)
The ❤️Monsi❤️ makes everyday life easier and simply saves precious time.
Or to put it another way: I no longer have to rely on industrially produced food as I can make so much myself in such a short time.
Sincerely, Lisa

I immediately tasted a puff pastry according to the instructions, it was wonderfully airy. Improvised a soup from the vegetable garden. And the Sunday menu: wrap with steamed turkey, guacamole and vegetables.... very fine.

To cut a long story short: I love the appliance. I had the expensive counterpart for many years, but Monsieur Cuisine has nothing to hide. I find the price/performance ratio "obe-use".
The only thing that bothers me is that it needs more space. But we were happy to give it a corner in the kitchen!
