Started a copy job of 128GB 2 hours ago (!!). It is still supposed to take 5 hours (!!!!!!!) to finish this one. On an external SSD the copy job is done in 4min.
Would probably rather not buy it again.
That the speed is throttled, is probably also because the small stick very quickly becomes relatively warm.

Did two (2x10) tests here and the performance is "Okay" when reading.
For write speed, I can not understand it in the 2020.

... unfortunately in the negative sense. The stick gets very hot. So hot that the swivel housing, which protects one plug at a time, is deformed. Then the whole thing plummets. Furthermore, the entire interior of the stick shifts (probably also due to the heat) and the circuit board slides back and forth.
So far, this has not affected the performance. Nevertheless, it is annoying. The high quality is gone.
I didn't notice these flaws in the black version with plastic casing. I would therefore recommend the plastic version to everyone.

Stick works well so far, but the "cap" wobbles already after 2 uses - Poor quality.
In addition, the stick gets damn hot! After 20 minutes on the PC, I could use the stick as an immersion heater!

Set my house on fire! But it's perfect for keeping warm during the Christmas season!
Finally an affordable and easily transportable electric heater.

Great value for money, especially regarding the memory space.
The metal body is heavy and gives an impression of robustness and quality. It also seems to be quite efficient at extracting heat during large transfers.
On the other hand, it is quite slippery, which means that to extract it from a poorly accessible USB socket, you sometimes have to try twice.
As I carry the key loose in a pocket, I ended up finding a case for it to avoid having a lot of small gravel get into the USB-A plug.
The key is recognized by all my Android devices (Huawei, Nokia, Samsung).
Finally, if the key is relatively fast in read-write, I was far from being bluffed (in ideal circumstances - big machine with SSD, big proc and 32 GB of RAM, on a USB 3.1 plug, and transferring big files, I painfully reached 50 MB/sec - and when I switched to my mobile PC which is less performing, I don't exceed 20 MB/sec. With small files (80% about 1MB, 20% about 1GB), it took me about 12 hours to transfer 60GB.

The thing is a small miracle and I have used it very often and with pleasure. For example, I've been able to store my entire image editing cue on it which would have otherwise only been possible with much more volume and/or less capacity.
The read/write rate is basically not bad either.
AAABUT:
I kept experiencing massive write rate drops with this stick. Sometimes several GB of photos from my camera were on the stick within seconds - sometimes it took half an hour or more. I could not see a pattern of when which speed was available.
And this doesn't seem to be just a problem with my copy. If you Google, you'll find exactly the same flaw still and still......
For this reason, I'm now switching to an SSD disk, they seem to use the more robust memory chips there (yet).

I am testing a new stick with "surface reinitialize" from Hard Disk Sentinel. Sounds bombastic but only writes 4 patterns or so and reads them again. A good stick has no problems with this at all. These ones (3 tested) are extremely slow with about 1.5MB/sec. This indicates the use of very inferior FLASH memory. In normal operation it will take a while until it gets that slow, but not very long. And I wouldn't put important data on something like that.
Conclusion: Factory-fresh hazardous waste.

With this stick, I can transfer the data from the PC directly to the notebook.
There is only one UBS-C connection on my notebook.

These things are really cute - but they get too hot during use (reading and/or writing) - you can burn your fingers. Therefore, from my point of view, hands off

When you consider that the stick has a lot of data volume for its capacity, you must not have high expectations right away. It is nobly made, but I advise against it. The USB-C plug is too long and sticks out a bit when plugged in, after the 5th use it started to wobble. It is advertised with the read rate, but the write rate is extremely low and the stick gets very hot when used. When changing pages you have to put pressure on the C connector and it can bend quickly if you are not careful. This has not been thought through properly. Better invest 10.- more and get a decent one without a turning mechanism.

USB thumb drive looks nice and resistant, however that goes away after the first usage...
Copied 50Gb into the drive and it started doing 100MBs writing, dropping to an astonishing 20MBs after a minute or so.
After hours passing those 50GB into the drive, I try to get it out and I got almost burned as it was so hot! I had to go and get a cloth to help on getting it out.
That was the first and till now the only time I used it...
Also, initially the movement of the parts on the drive when you switch between A and C was tight.... After the amazing heat it went through it is now quite loose, so now there's a little clanking sound when you shake the key, but that's ok.
