    I've had the Roccat XTD for just under 2 months now....

    I've had the Roccat XTD for just under 2 months now, and honestly can't complain about it. The XTD lies very well in the hand due to the very pleasant material, you don't have to make any crooked finger movements to get to special buttons. The Roccat Driver allows you to adjust a lot of things, such as the colours of the lights, the individual buttons can be configured accordingly, and it even saves the usage (how many mouse clicks, left, right, how many metres you have scrolled, it is always funny to look at these unbelievable numbers).

    As I'm a League of Legends player, this works well for me, because I have saved the "F" key on my thumb button, for example, which means "Flash" in the game (LoL gamers know all about this ^^).

    The Kone XTD Optical has, in the relatively short time...

    In the relatively short time I have been able to test the Kone XTD Optical so far, it has not shown any serious weaknesses in use. In addition, compared to the other mice I have used so far, it can be configured easily and yet in a differentiated manner in the available software, which by the way is very intuitive to use.
    The only points I didn't like were the sound feedback, which fortunately can be deactivated, and the fact that the Easy Shift activation can only be applied to the two thumb buttons.
    Neither of these points is a real problem for me. However, it is incomprehensible why both points do not offer the user the option to freely customise these aspects to their own needs as well, since the product is touted by Roccat itself as a "Max Customization Gaming Mouse".
    Perhaps a driver in the future will also open up these customisation options to users.

    Flawless

    As a long-time Roccat Kone user, I had used the Kone + (the predecessor) for 3 years, and I can only recommend this mouse. The successor of the Kone + is identical to the predecessor, except for small improvements, such as the textileingepack cable.
    The additional button location is optimally solved.
