    Very intuitive to use. Unleashed flash is very easy to use, unlike Canon's system. The colour filters are also great (including diffuser). When they are attached, a signal is sent to the camera which then adjusts the white balance - but only works when the flash is mounted directly on the camera. The shutter is easy to use, unlike Canon's 430/580 series.

    For 99.5% of applications this flash will do. I will certainly not upgrade to SB-900 :-)

    Tip for remote flash for cameras with on-camera flash:
    - Set SB-700 switch to remote
    - Set the flash to commander mode in the camera
    - In the e1 menu (I think) make sure the commander is set to "--" and not "TTL" or "M".

    Then the High Speed Sync will work up to the highest shutter speed of the camera.

    Price/performance -> Perfect!

    After 5 years: very satisfied. Still works.

    Very satisfied. Also fits newer models. Absolutely sufficient for the hobby photographer around the corner. Good price/performance ratio

    Unfortunately only little used, until now over...

    Unfortunately, it has only been used a little, but so far the device is convincing. For the normal amateur photographer, the flash offers a lot of possibilities. I would also look at the SB-500 and compare it.
