    Recommended purchase when distant objects are in demand

    Compared to the size and weight of the camera body (Nikon1 V1), the VR 70-300 is big and heavy, making the light, small bridge camera similar to an SLR, BUT the telephoto zoom power, man, it makes up for everything. Now distant flying objects are easy to zoom in on. CONCLUSION: Recommended purchase

    A very good lens with top values (189-810mm focal length compared to FX format)

    Compared to Nikon full frame, this is a 189 to 810 focal length tube. This summer I left my D7200 and D800 bodies and their lenses at home for a long time and travelled with the Nikon 1 V3 and four "small" lenses. The difference in quality is visible - ok, but my photo backpack is much lighter and for my holiday shots the Nikon 1 system is perfectly sufficient. A clear 5 star rating for price-performance. I will buy a second Nikon 1 body for the next holidays.
