The performance was good, but the notebook was not very reliable.

In the first week, several bluescreens occurred due to driver or hardware errors. After a driver update, the Nahimic audio software no longer worked. The Steel Series Engine software for the keyboard illumination crashed repeatedly from the beginning.

Power in its most colourful form! Great workmanship.

The unit has a very high-quality finish and is literally bursting with power!

I would like to make a very positive mention of the Steelseries keyboard and the associated engine. But also the Dragon Center from MSI, which
offers an enormous number of options for optimising and lighting the device.
You get a control centre, so to speak, with which you can adjust everything to your liking.
The trackpad also works surprisingly well, I'm not usually a big fan of trackpads :) But this one is precise and really pleasant to work with.

The 7-pipe heating system works perfectly without the fans getting too loud. It's also worth mentioning that there's an extra button on the far right that allows you to manually activate an air boost. Within 5 seconds, you can cool the unit down again, should this be necessary (perhaps for a lot of rendering work or the like).

All in all, the MSI GE63 8RE-601 Raider RGB (who the hell thinks up names like that?) is very stable and of high quality. Nothing creaks and everything feels solid. But I didn't expect anything else from the gaming giant from Taiwan.

I am very satisfied with the device.
The only drawback is the Enter key. For some dubious reason, it turned out smaller and you like to tap the key in front of it. It's just a matter of habit, but it's still a bit annoying because you'd expect the Enter key to be a bit further up, since it's usually bigger.

    Pro

    • The Steelseries keyboard feels great
    • Mystic lights on the back of the display are an eye-catcher
    • RGB lighting individually adjustable
    • Relatively quiet even under high power conditions
    • RAM can be increased from 16 to 32 GB

    Contra

    • The Enter key is smaller than the standard, is a bit unusual at the beginning
