Great for toasting bread or waffles
I was looking for an appliance for toasting whole slices of bread or waffles that are a bit older. Normal toasters, which are designed for ordinary toast, do this rather badly because the slots are too small. With this appliance, it works wonderfully because you can insert baked goods up to just under 26 cm long and just under 4 cm thick. In addition, baked goods can be toasted on one side. The toasting result is stable, regardless of whether the appliance is cold or already warm. In this respect, the visual inspection through the glass is not absolutely necessary. Cleaning is okay. However, I would not like to have to remove spills such as jam, icing or cheese because the holder for the baked goods cannot be removed. The price is proud at about CHF 200. It could have been a CH plug instead of a Schuko plug (2 adapters were included).
If you only want to toast normal toast, you are probably not well served with this appliance, as only 2 slices fit in at the same time. Other appliances do this more cheaply and with less space.This review was created for a different variant: Vision
