Excellent flagship smartphone without Google services

As always with Huawei, the smartphone has a top finish. The screen actually has no edges and is smooth with 90hz Full HD+.
The punch hole is big again, but has an additional wide-angle camera and 3D face recognition.
    I like
the design very much, not the 2020 uniform...

The battery can be charged with 66W via cable or 50W wirelessly and is thus full in about 40 minutes. The battery lasts 8-10 hours screen on time despite 90hz, depending on use. However, this varies depending on reception and apps for each user.

I already got the 50W wireless charger from Aliexpress, since Digitec unfortunately doesn't have any new accessories.

Unlike the P40 pro, the Mate 40 pro has dual speakers, one at the top of the frame and one at the bottom. They are of good quality and loud enough.

5G works with Vodafone in Spain and Swisscom in Switzerland without any problems.

The cameras are once again the best on the market in my opinion. I would use the zoom up to 10x, anything beyond that is more of a gimmick. Video at 4K 60 is super stabilised and looks good. Photos, whether day or night, always look great and compared to the P40 pro, there are some small but noticeable improvements in everything.

3D Face Scan works both in a dark room and against the sun. The fingerprint sensor also works perfectly.

Regarding G Services... Practically all my apps work without Google.
I use the Aurora Store with Google account login as a substitute. This gets the apps from the Play Store. And you can even continue to use purchased apps.

Netflix, banking, WhatsApp etc. Everything works without any problems. Only services that rely on Google Maps, for example, do not work or only to a limited extent.

But I get along very well without the Google services.

For more on Google services, check out the comments, I have some tips there.
