    Dear Spectre

    Dear Spectre

    When I touch your mouse
move the pointer across the screen,
    press the keys softly,
    I'm delighted by the display...
If you were already with me, it would be glorious,
    my HP Spectre x360!

    When I delight
    in Microsoft Ink
I'd use you so often and so quickly,
    My expectations would be surpassed
    # It's lucky I have you or I'd die #
If you were already with me, it would be splendid,
    My HP Spectre x360!

When I think of your memory
Paying more and more attention to you
    My girlfriend won't like it
so I won't even ask her...
If you were already with me, it'd be great,
    my HP Spectre x360!

    The all-purpose machine. Finally

Nice item, quiet and very efficient. Forget the "tablet" mode for prolonged use, 2kg is too heavy.
4K would be a useless luxury if you stayed on the laptop screen.
With a large external screen (I took the 38" HP) the graphics
    card makes sense.
So what's the point of a touchscreen if you're working on an external monitor?
Well, in easel mode you forget about the space that would be lost by the laptop's keyboard and its screen becomes a real extension AND an input device. That's great.
I used to work with a closed notebook and two HD screens. My new combination is a real progress: a panoramic screen that covers two HD screens, but more height (for vertical A4 pages) + a 15" HD touch screen.

In the HP monopoly, a small shadow: I had to take a Dell docking station, very good, because of the lack of availability at HP. Every time I turn it on I get a message from HP reproaching me for this, which is annoying.

    Pro

    • Powerful in all areas: balanced machine in the top range.
    • Beau
    • Muffler
    • Easel mode perfectly useful with an external monitor

    Contra

    • The screen is bright BUT reflective: in a bright environment there are too many reflections
    • As soon as a non-HP device is put in, the brand repeats (reproaches?) it too often.

Would be great if this sound was not

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this notebook. I think the price/performance is very good in comparison, but the saying is "coil whine". I recommend googling this beforehand, many devices seem to have it and replacing them under warranty doesn't seem to help. Unfortunately, mine has this too and it is extremely annoying.

    Pro

    • Display top
    • Good specs for the price
    • Design
    • Connections (HDMI, unfortunately not 2.0)
    • Trakpad good

    Contra

    • High-frequency sound in battery mode is extremely annoying
    • I'm used to ThinkPads, I like the keyboard better on these.
    • Fan often unpleasantly loud
